Congratulations on starting your journey to a healthier life!

GLP-1 medications help with weight loss by targeting the areas of the brain that control hunger and fullness. They reduce appetite, increase the feeling of fullness after eating, and slow down how quickly food leaves the stomach—helping you eat less and stay satisfied longer. Over time, this can lead to significant and sustainable weight loss. In addition to weight management, GLP-1 medications offer several other health benefits. They help regulate blood sugar levels by increasing insulin when needed and reducing the amount of sugar the liver produces. GLP-1s have also been shown to reduce inflammation, lower blood pressure, improve cholesterol levels, and protect the heart. In fact, some GLP-1 medications are FDA-approved to lower the risk of heart attack and stroke in people with certain risk factors. Emerging research also suggests possible benefits for fatty liver disease (NAFLD/NASH), and even cognitive health. These medications support overall metabolic health, making them a powerful option not only for weight loss but for long-term disease prevention and wellness.

After your consultation with one of our heath care providers, your medication will arrive at your home in 2-4 business days. The pharmacy will send you a message with your tracking information when the shipping label has been prepared. Please note that there can be occasional weather delays and the pharmacy does not process shipments on Sundays.

For accuracy and safety, we use a pharmacy that has rigorous quality control measures in place. The amount and validity of medication is checked and confirmed every time, but the vial WILL NOT LOOK FULL. The total volume in the vial will be VERY SMALL. The amount of medication does not correlate with the size of the vial you receive. For example, if the pharmacy uses a smaller vial, it will appear as if there is more medication in it. If they use a larger vial, the exact same amount of medication might not fill the vial.

Your medication will be shipped with a cold pack. However, it is normal for the medication not to be cold upon arrival. The cold pack is used to prevent the temperature from exceeding 140°F during transit, which could compromise the medication. Once received, please store the vial in your refrigerator to maintain its effectiveness over time. Your medication will not lose efficacy for 12mo after the manufacture date.

Can I return the Medication?

No. Pharmacies are not allowed to accept medication returns under any circumstance.

When will I lose weight?

Weight loss can vary widely from person to person and depends on several factors. In clinical studies, most individuals experienced minimal weight loss during the first month. This is because treatment begins with a low dose to help your body adjust and reduce the risk of side effects. As the dosage increases, weight loss may occur at different rates depending on your body’s natural fat set point.

What if I have side effects?

Nausea, diarrhea, constipation, fatigue, headache, and heartburn are all potential side effects of Semaglutide/Tirzepatide. These side effects, if present at all, almost always improve with continued medication use. If you're experiencing mild nausea, a couple of great over-the-counter options to try first are ginger and vitamin B6. Both are safe, natural remedies that have been shown to help reduce nausea symptoms. Ginger can be taken in capsule form, tea, or even chews, while vitamin B6 is typically taken in tablet form. These can often ease discomfort without the need for prescription medication, especially when used at the first sign of nausea. If you are having intolerable side effects and need further recommendations please email us at [email protected].

Dosing Guide

Below you will find dosage charts for both Tirzepatide and Semaglutide. Along the left column will be your desired weekly dose. Along the top row you will see your purchased vial size. The intersecting box will show how many units you will need to pull on the syringe and inject for that desired dose once weekly. You will also see how many doses you will have with that purchased vial. A tutorial video is also posted below if you need further instruction on how to pull and inject your medication.

How can I purchase more syringes?

Replacement or additional syringes, if necessary, are available online at an affordable price. Look for 100 unit insulin syringes with a 31 gauge, 5/16" length needle. These are available through Amazon, Walmart and many online retailers.

Is anything mixed with the Tirzepatide/Semaglutide?

Our Tirzepatide and Semaglutide are mixed with Glycine. Glycine is a type of amino acid, which is a building block for proteins in our body. It's one of the simplest amino acids and is found in many foods, especially those high in protein like meat, fish, and beans. Glycine plays a key role in helping our body make proteins, and it's also important for our brain and nervous system. Plus, it can be found in collagen, which helps our skin, joints, and connective tissues stay healthy. Glycine can also help support muscle preservation during GLP-1–related weight loss by enhancing protein metabolism and reducing catabolic stress.

Can I add Vitamin B12 to my GLP-1?

Our largest vials of both Semaglutide and Tirzepatide offer the option to add methylcobalamin (vitamin B12) for an additional $30. Vitamin B12 (methylcobalamin) is an excellent complement to GLP-1 therapy, helping to maintain energy, metabolism, and overall well-being as appetite and food intake decrease. It supports nerve and digestive health, can lessen fatigue and nausea, and helps prevent nutrient deficiencies that may occur with reduced caloric intake. Together, GLP-1 and B12 promote steady, healthy weight loss while keeping patients feeling strong and balanced. Please note that the B12 add-on is available only with the larger vial sizes and is not an option for smaller vials.

Can I come to the office for my medication?

How to draw and inject your GLP-1

Instructions for Drawing Up Medication for Injection

First check the label for the correct medication.

Remove the sterile top protecting the rubber stopper of the vial. You do not need to replace this. Remove a syringe from the package. First pull back and forth on the plunger by grasping the plunger handle to check for easy movement.

With the vial in the upright position, push the needle through the center of the rubber stopper on the vial. Push the needle in at a 90-degree angle, being careful not to bend the needle. Now turn the vial upside down, with the needle remaining in the vial. Do this carefully as to not bend the needle. The needle should now be pointing upward and vial upside down. Make sure that the tip of the needle is completely covered by the liquid medication in the vial and not above the fluid line. This will ensure medication is withdrawn (and not air).

SLOWLY pull back on the plunger to fill the syringe with the correct dose of medication as prescribed. Doing so slowly will decrease the amount of air/bubbles drawn in the syringe.

Keep the vial upside down, with the needle in the vial pointed upward. Tap the syringe lightly, or “flick” it with a fingertip. This helps move any air bubbles to the top of the syringe. Once the air bubbles are at the top of the syringe, gently push on the plunger to force the air bubbles out of the syringe and back into the vial, (or you may push ALL the medication back into the vial, withdraw again slowly, and repeat that step if necessary).

NOTE: It is important to eliminate large air bubbles because they take up space needed for the medication, causing inaccurate dosing when injected. Tiny air bubbles however will not harm you. Not need to get every small bubble out.

After removing the larger bubbles, check the dose of medication in the syringe to be sure the correct amount has been drawn up.

Administering the Subcutaneous Medication

First wipe the intended injection area (abdomen preferably) with an alcohol wipe. Each week rotate injection sites around the abdomen.

Take the cover off the needle, being careful not to touch the needle. Hold the syringe in one hand like a pencil or a dart. Gently grasp the skin area to be injected between the thumb and index finger with your other hand, and pinch outward.

Inserting at a 90-degree angle, quickly inject the needle all the way into the skin. Do not push the needle into the skin slowly or thrust the needle into the skin with excessive force. Do NOT press down on the top of the plunger before the needle is completely into the skin.

NOTE: This angle is important to ensure that the medication will be injected into the fatty tissue. However, in persons with little subcutaneous fat, you may need to use a 45-degree angle.

After the needle is completely inserted into the skin, release the skin that is being grasped. Press down on the plunger to deliver medication into the subcutaneous layer at a slow, steady pace.

It is not serious if you notice blood at the site after the needle is removed. A surface blood vessel may have been nicked and blood is following the needle track out to the surface. Simply apply pressure to the site for a few seconds. Also, a small amount of fluid may appear at the site. This may be medication that is following the needle track to the surface, as the fluid will likely follow the path of least resistance from the hole just created by the needle. Again, apply gentle pressure to the site for a few moments.

Safe Needle Disposal

Place the syringe or needle in a hard plastic or metal container with a tightly secured lid; preferably, a sharps container. In the event such a container is unavailable, an empty, rigid plastic container such as a milk jug or laundry soap container can be used.

Keep the container out of the reach of children or pets.

When the container is 75% full, take it to a health care facility, (hospital or physician’s office), for proper disposal.
